Virtually All Secondary and Primary Schools in Nigeria have vacated for the 2nd term academic year break but Kaduna State Schools have not, why this, Gov. Mal Nasir El-rufai?
When other students in Nigeria are traveling and socializing with their counterparts in other parts of the country courtesy of 2nd term school break and Easter day celebration their counterpart in Kaduna State in both public and private schools for the 1st time and to the best of my knowledge have only Good Friday and Easter Monday to stay at home then resume back to School on Tuesday. Kaduna State Students will only observe their 2nd term break from April 15 which will be closed to when their counterparts in other States will resume for 3rd term.
Please what is the point behind changing Kaduna State school academic calendar? Haba, is it the kind of change Kaduna State Students want? As far I am concern, any policy that doesn't bring joy and happiness to the majority of the people is as good as nothing. Or what do you say of Gov. El-rufai primary school feeding policy to learners when some of the teachers have not received their salaries for months?
To my understanding of the man El-rufai, if he has the ability to change Kaduna State ecological system, he will not hesitate to do that. In fact the Governor will not mind Kaduna State be in night now i.e PM while the rest of the country are in day tim ie AM. Suppose he changes Kaduna State day's time from day to night and or vice versa , what impact will that make to the generality of Kaduna State people. Is not just about change but its impact to the lives of ordinary man and woman in the state.
I hope my Governor change policies will focus on his people's welfare, desire and aspiration. Anything short of that is mis-placement of priorities.
